Performing in commercials since age of four, Angela was born in Orangeburg South Carolina. A true Southern Bell, she has a dual degree in theater and business from South Carolina State University. Angela is currently pursuing her Masters of Business Administration with a concentration in Entrepreneurship/Innovation focusing on Human Resource Management at her alma mater. She's currently the Marketing Representative and a Licensed Insurance Agent for the Anthony Bennon Agency in Fountain Inn, South Carolina.

The first African-American woman to hold the titles of Miss North Charleston, South Carolina Queen of Roses and Miss Orangeburg County in the Miss South Carolina/America scholarship organization, she is the Local Executive Director (LED) for the Miss Orangeburg County & Miss Orangeburg County Teen, Miss Garden City & Miss Garden City Teen and Miss Edisto River Teen preliminaries. Angela has performed and over 70 countries and all 50 states as a singer, dancer, extras, choreographer and producer in the entertainment industry since 1995.
