Shantavia Edmonds, a 24 year old native of Roseville, South Carolina is the current Miss  Orangeburg County 2021.

 

A dual graduate student at Campbell University seeking a Masters of Public Health and Doctorate of Pharmacy, Shantavia is the daughter of the late James Edmonds and Joyce Edmonds of Roseville, SC. After the changes to everyones lives because of the pandemic, she is jubilant for the opportunity to finally compete this June.

 

“As a former Miss Garden City Teen, I am thrilled to be a part of this program again. Even though the pandemic has thrown us all challenges, I cannot wait to share all the things I have learned and share my experiences on a statewide and national level. ”

 

A graduate of Claflin University with a degree in Biochemistry with a Biology minor, Shantavia has continued to be a fervent advocate for the Orangeburg community through her personal platform, EIGHT Organ Donation. She has also been trained and works as a COVID-19 contact tracer.
